DESCRIPTION:Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS)\, known as “forever chemicals\,” are a class of man-made compounds that persist indefinitely in the environment. They contaminate drinking water and soil\, move through groundwater\, and accumulate in the human body over time. \nThe EPA estimates that nearly half of all U.S. tap water systems contain PFAS\, and studies show that over 97% of Americans have PFAS in their blood.
