My father was a carpentar and built homes. At age 12 I started helping dad with all types of construction. Just out of high school I worked for Ryan homes building homes. Then four years of college followed by four years of trade school. Our first home was 1928 which was gutted and redone. Then came rental properties and lots of repairs. The rental properties brought 2 yrs of school for home inspecting. Finally home inspecting brought my interest back to electrical and more education which brought me to state of OHio electrical license. Currently I inspect full time and wire when I can and repair all kinds problems continually.
