The AI Edge

A full day of programming aims to help inspectors better understand how to work with artificial intelligence.

by Laura Rote ∣ July 31, 2026

Mark your calendars for ASHI’s first AI Day—August 31, 2026. The AI Edge is a free, full-day virtual learning experience that offers ASHI home inspectors the chance to dig more into the world of AI, learning from ASHI affiliates and long-time industry experts.

The first-of-its-kind event is designed to give home inspection professionals an honest, practical look at the AI tools being built specifically for this industry. From writing faster, more consistent reports to automating scheduling calls, generating repair cost estimates backed by real transaction data, and delivering same-day mold and IAQ lab results with AI-powered analysis, the curated day of sessions from vetted ASHI affiliate companies is built to help you separate the tools worth your time from the noise. Sessions will also address the risk side of the equation, including how to use AI responsibly without exposing your business to liability.

ASHI Members are invited to attend all day or drop into the sessions most relevant to them.

Below is a snapshot of the day, followed by more detail about each session.
